Quanfa Martial Arts Academy teaches both Doce Pares Eskrima and Teh Ji Han Jeung Dao Kungfu.

Although Eskrima is taught separately at the Academy, the Filipino Martial Arts form a key componenant of both styles, the footwork patterns Filipino boxing techniques and aggressive blocking are a key characteristics of our empty hands system.

Once a basic understanding of these principles has been grasped, the depth of the style is endless. We believe that the only limitation you have will be your imagination, and once you begin to become creative in your thinking as a Martial Artist, the system will become personal to you. We wholly encourage dissecting all aspects of the style from punching, trapping, kicking, footwork to stick and knife fighting, so you can take what works effectively and efficiently for you.

There are two half's to the style that make up the whole. Firstly, the physical side will prepare you with numerous ideas and concepts to develop your body and give you techniques that will heighten your overall awareness. Punches, kicks, blocks, Flow drills, footwork, pad and bag work, sport arts and fighting art concepts, are the core of this well-rounded and effective Martial Art. ..

Secondly, Quanfa Martial Arts will also develop mental strength and awareness that learnt along side the physical elements creates an all round style that in part or whole appeals to everyone. To be able to focus the mind in a confrontation we believe will enable you to be better prepared for the unexpected. Focus and spirit have played a vital role in the development of the Martial warrior for hundreds of years. Before you can ever defeat an aggressor, you must first develop an understanding of your own body

The UK Quanfa Academy runs a comprehensive syllabus designed to test the individual's core knowledge at various phases of training. Set over eight phases it will take the student through from beginner to advanced ensuring a strong base knowledge for continued development is laid These principles are taken from Martial Arts of the old, and we believe that to develop oneself is to develop Martial Arts, and to develop Martial Arts is to develop oneself. We believe that this approach to a realistic fighting style and one that develops you as an individual is close to the core of many 'traditional' Martial Arts
